QR code generator

Given the incraesing use of QR codes and the attraction of speed of flow of registration, it would be great to have a built in QR code generator to enebale RD’s and organzers to be able to generate a QR code without using an external platform.

Thanks, @Terry! I have some thoughts, but could you share more about how you imagine using QR codes? I’d love to hear when you think you would most use this and how you envision it helping you as an RD.

I created a QR code for my event flyer that takes you directly to the registration page

Ah, apologies, I missed replying to this. I imagine using QR codes in social media marketing and other online sitautions so that people can go staright to a registration page with ease. I trust that helps.

You can just right click on the webpage in most internet browsers and select “Create QR Code for this page” (at least that’s what it is in Chrome). It’s free and works for any URL

We’ll mark this as completed given the support article referenced above, however, there’s an inherent question of how we can improve our registration experience by making things easier and this could still be part of efforts to do that. I’m adding it to the “parking lot” of our roadmap for future consideration alongside other registration-related enhancements.
