Uniform display of course map link(s)

I think it would be helpful to require a link to the course map for each distance so it can be uniformly displayed and quick to find on the race listing. Currently one has to scour through sometimes long winded race descriptions to not find a link, and then going to the race website and maybe being able to find a course map.

I’ve switched this to the Runner user group since I think that’s where the impact would most be felt. It will require work on both sides to implement. Do you think that providing a standard method for capturing and displaying map data would be a step in the right direction? A “requirement” to supply this data might be a future step as mapping sources converge. Additional thoughts?
