Allow volunteers to choose more than one option for a volunteer task and rank them based on preference. Gives the RD more flexibility when filling volunteer slots.
I like this option. Or even “general volunteer” option that allows RDs to assign volunteers who have no preference for an assignment.
This could be a great optional feature that RDs can choose to enable on their volunteer signups. Speaking to Rebecca’s comment - for my races, I create a ‘General’ assignment that folks can pick if they don’t have any preferences or limitations.
