I ran my first trail race in December and was genuinely excited to check out my results and start building a history of my races. Instead, I found a page labeled “My Results” that shows three other people’s results mixed in with mine—same name, similar age, no clue who they are.
This has been incredibly frustrating. Results are a big part of the trail running experience—something many of us care deeply about. Whether we’re chasing podiums, running our first 50K, or just trying to improve from last year, we deserve a results page that’s actually ours.
Right now, the system just dumps everyone with the same name onto the same results page. That’s fine if your name is “Laser Moonshine” or something unique—but for those of us with common names, it’s a mess. And yes, it’s not just annoying—it’s inaccurate, and it undermines what should be a proud record of our accomplishments.
Feature Request:
Build unique runner profiles so results aren’t grouped by just first and last name
Use account info, age, and past events to separate runners with identical names
Fix the “My Results” experience so it’s actually mine, not a shared page with strangers
This feels like a pretty core part of what UltraSignup should do well—track results, clearly and accurately. Right now, it’s not delivering on that. Would love to see this improved.
Adjacent request: I have a name where there are 3 distinct runners on the same page. (They aren’t jumbled up, as is implied by this request, but the ages are distinct enough that they separate properly.) My thing is that I’d like the most active runner (me!) to be listed first, as opposed to the guy that ran a few in the 90s being sorted first.
